Rescuing Animals, Restoring Hope Since 1983
A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
For over 40 years, we've been giving animals a second chance at life.
Our journey began in 1983 in Ensenada, Mexico, where our founder started rescuing animals in need. What started as one person's passion has grown into a cross-border mission of hope, serving animals throughout San Diego County and as far south as La Paz, Baja California.
In 2016, we became an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Today, we continue our work rescuing cats, dogs, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more. We partner with organizations like the San Diego Humane Society (El Cajon, Oceanside, and Valley Center campuses) to ensure every animal finds their forever home.
Our founder's favorite work is with dogs that others deem "not adoptable." These special animals with social issues receive dedicated attention and training—sometimes for up to 9 months to a year—until they're ready to find their loving forever families. Every animal deserves a chance.
Watch our rescued animals and the love we share
Every animal receives comprehensive care before adoption
All animals receive their complete vaccination series to ensure their health and safety.
Every pet is spayed or neutered before adoption to help control the pet population.
All animals are microchipped so they can always find their way back home.
Complete deworming treatment ensures our animals are healthy and parasite-free.
Protection against kennel cough keeps our dogs safe and healthy.
Special attention for animals with social issues—we work with them until they're ready for their forever home.
We are actively searching for a property to use as a permanent shelter for our rescued animals. Your support can help us provide a safe haven for animals in need.
If you have a property that could serve as an animal shelter, or know someone who does, please reach out!
